Asnes

The joy of skiing and tradition have been keywords for Åsnes since the start in 1922. The Åsnes brothers started up the ski production near Sognefjord and the mountains out on the westcoast of Norway.

 Their skis are completely handmade. They will never make a large number of skis, but the skis they do make are made by people who know what mountaineers and polar explorers need.

Åsnes have lovingly made the skis and bindings that this year’s Explorer Team will rely upon to get them across the ice in as much comfort and with as much speed as possible.
